Lockwood-Urban Dance and Theatre School Offering classes in many different styles of dance, as well as drama, vocal coaching and musical ins Available in groups as well as one to one tuition.

Offering classes in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz, Freestyle, Street, Contemporary, Lyrical, Cheerleading, Pointe, Musical Theatre, Drama, Vocal Coaching and Wind Instruments. On stage at Mounts Bay Academy

2 till 3pm
Sat morning baby class on stage ...no class in Newlyn in the morning!(please note this class is in both acts and also the finale...it's a short show!)

3pm ...all cast finale... into dress rehearsal...all costumes needed
4.45/5pm ISH break for tea and hair and makeup.
If leaving return no later than 5.45 unless hair and make up ready.

6.30 show starts
Each act should be roughly 30 mins...there will be a short interval between acts.

All dancers will be signed out via stage door round to the left and at the back of the building

📣✨ LOCKWOOD URBAN DANCE STUDIOS EXAMS ✨📣

🗓️ May 16th & 17th

Our exam weekend is coming up! 💃🕺 A full email with your exact day & time will be sent out soon—keep an eye out!

👗 Exam Attire:
Check class manager to see what exam your child is doing, then follow the attire below for each exam:

- Older Tap, Older Modern Gymnastics & Contemporary: Black leotard & black leggings (no logos) with the correct shoes and plain white socks (no frills)
- Younger Graded (Class exam to Grade 1): Blue leotards with skirts with the correct shoes. Ballet socks for ballet & white plain socks for modern/tap
- Babies (Rainbows): Costume provided on the day 🌈
- Monday Street/Freestyle Exams: Costume provided on the day
- Medal Exams: Costume provided

⚠️ Please check shoes fit ASAP so they can be ordered in time

🎀 Hair & Appearance:
Ballet: Bun
Modern, Tap & Contemporary: French plaits
Black ribbons (for hair & shoes) will be provided
No makeup, nail varnish or jewellery

⏰ On the day:
Please arrive 1 hour before your exam (especially if you’d like help with hair)
Bring your own hair kit: brush, bands, hairspray
Entrance change: Use the first set of blue doors and go to the top studio (main entrance will be locked)

💳 Reminder: If exam fees haven’t been paid yet, please do so ASAP. Please also ensure dancers are turning up to all lessons prior to exams. This is really important for all the dancers taking exams and to prepare and rehearse ready for their exams.
