PLEASE SHARE. We are hiring for a kiln technician. Experience preferred but not essential at all the job isn't complex and I'm the most chilled out person to teach you. Don't send me CV I hate these stupid bu****it documents about being reliable, punctual and what not. I'll meet you and see for myself. This is only a temporary role as I have .studio and but there having issues with transport etc. 🤠❤️

A throw back to where our journey began in the shed

Garath The Goat pottery began in founder Livv's shed as casual pottery lessons for beginners, kids and the clay-curious but, in May 2023, moved into our very own studio space.

​With 2 wheels, bags and bags of clay and a whole lot of laughter, the pottery evolved into a full-time teaching space throughout 2024 with visiting tutors, long and short term courses and bespoke classes.

​In 2025 we are changing. After the success of 2024, Livv and Garath are winding back the pottery side of the studio to focus on other ventures and have decided to team up with local artist and performer Pink Baby.

​​We will still be booking courses, teaching pottery and creating safe and silly spaces for our community to get together and make throughout 2025. We're so excited for this new journey so please stick with us and stay tuned for updates.
