Our very first Nakü Talk's session 🏺

Are you interested in glazing and the chemistry behind it!? Does the world of glazing seem to be a force of mystical powers!? Yep, we think most do before being taught correctly, so you're not alone!

- We have the glaze expert and world renowned ceramicist , , showcasing a talk on Special effects glazing!
We have been over the moon with the news, knowing this will be a valuable talk for our students, creating an incredible base of knowledge of glazes and the chemistry behind it.

Whether you are a complete beginner or an advanced potter, this will be something not to miss! 💛

Come and join us during an immersive evening of ceramics and small plates from the wonderful . SCULPT AND DINE ✨️

🏺During our 2 and half hour session, you will be guided on how to create your very own ceramics vase.
This unique pinching technique dates back to 17,000 years ago, and is completely suitable for beginners!

🏺 Not only will you create your piece from scratch with expert guidance from our staff, you will decorate it also using our ceramic slips and underglazes.

🏺 Two delicious small plates AND two drinks are included in your ticket. Which are all served fresh straight from the kitchen at Bolla. If you you haven't tried the food? You are in for a culinary treat!! 👌

🎉HAPPY NEW YEAR MY LOVELY POTTERS✨️

What an absolute joy 2024 has been.

It was the year a vision and a dream became a reality. A year which allowed me to share a passion and love for a craft with the community. A year, which gifted me treasured students who are now friends.

8 months running my own pottery and it has definitely been one of the most rewarding and joyful experiences to date. I feel so very proud of myself and my students.

Learning a new craft isn't just about making things.
It's about gaining community, over coming mistakes, and learning so much more about yourself in the process.

I truly hope this year brings you all peace, happiness and I hope you find the magic in those little things. ✨️

🎁 These are valid for 8 months, giving you plenty of time to get that 2:1 throwing lesson that you’ve had your eye on scheduled in!

Gift Vouchers, can also be used to commission a personalized piece of pottery from Alisha at Naku. From a ramen bowl, to a larger sculptural vase, she is open to creating a piece you’ve always wanted!

These commissions will take 4-6 weeks to create from clay, to vessel.

Come and join us for our rescheduled, MUG IN A PUB!

This Sunday, we are going to roll up our sleeves and create a mug that santa would be proud of 🎅

Due to our rescheduling, our sold out event, now has tickets available!! We have carried our students tickets over to the event in January for all who couldnt make the new date ✨️

We have a very small amount left, so get in quick to avoid disappointment! ✨️

Our sessions include :

🎄 A guided session on how to create your very own mug
🎄All materials, tutoring and firings are included
🎄Painting our mugs with underglaze and adornments to make it an extra special piece ✨️
🎄Then you will collect your piece from our little studio in Penryn when they are all fired and glazed, ready for collection 🙏
