Happy Monday! Here's what's on this week at BlueJam. Lots of our groups are back after their summer break, including BabyJam, MiniJam and LittleJam, as well as Shap Community Band ☺. To receive updates about FamilyJam and other activities for younger children this academic year, please email [email protected] - she sends out regular emails about upcoming activities.

Also, while you're here - there are only a couple of tickets left for Leveret's gig at our arts space on Saturday 26th September so if you'd like to be there, we recommend booking ASAP. We can't wait! The ticket link is below:

Better late than never - here's what's on at BlueJam this week. Next week sees the return of BabyJam and MiniJam on Tuesday and LittleJam on Friday - if you have little ones, make sure to pop the dates in your calendar, we're looking forward to seeing you! We're also looking forward to two upcoming gigs at BlueJam. Leveret will be with us on Saturday 26th September (tickets almost sold out!) and John Kirkpatrick & Cohen Braithwaite-Kilcoyne will be here on Thursday 15th October (doors @ 7pm for both). We can't wait to be a part of Lakes Deer Fest 2026! We are running various creative workshops throughout September and early October, including family art workshops, songwriting for young people aged 10+ and drumming for everyone! If you'd like to come and join us for any of the activities, please drop us an email on [email protected], letting us know how many people you are booking for (and the age of any children), and we will reserve your places ☺

Happy Monday! Here's what's on this week at BlueJam ☺ We're particularly looking forward to our final Have a Go session for families on Tuesday at 3pm. We still have some places available for this one so do give us a shout ([email protected]) if you'd like to book. We're almost at the end of the summer holidays now and we're delighted to say that BabyJam, MiniJam and LittleJam will begin again on the week commencing 7th September - exciting! New members are more than welcome, email [email protected] to go on the list.

Here's what's on this week at BlueJam ☺ We're especially looking forward to our family Come and Drum session on Tuesday. The session is free thanks to funding from Cumbria Music Hub and we'd love to see you there.

It's tomorrow! Come and join us for a relaxed concert at BlueJam Arts Space in Penrith on Sunday afternoon (2-4pm) ☺ Tomorrow we'll be joining in with some jazzy tunes played by professional musicians as well as doing some music inspired drawing and playing with shadow puppets on our special shadow screen. These events are designed to be perfect for families and are completely free to attend. Drop us an email ([email protected]) if you'd like to come along ☺️

Here's what's on this week at BlueJam. Our Come and Drum session on Tuesday is fully booked (we're so excited to drum with you!) but we're really looking forward to our relaxed concert on Sunday afternoon - it's perfect for families and there's still a small handful of places available so do drop us an email ASAP if you'd like to come along ([email protected]) 🩷 Also a small heads up that our website is currently offline due to an unexpected technical error. We hope it will be back soon but in the meantime you can find us on socials ☺

We loved going on the radio this morning to talk about our free summer music programme for families and to showcase one of our wonderful community samba bands, BlueJam Street Beats 🥁 Want to join in the fun? We've still got some places available for:

- 11th August (3-5pm) - Come and Drum (very limited)
- 16th August (2-4pm) - Jazz Relaxed Concert
- 18th August (3-5pm) - Come and Drum
- 25th August (3-5pm) - Have a Go

Here's what's on this week at BlueJam ☺ We're really looking forward to another Stomping Ground Wild Play Day on Friday, this time at Fairhill Playing Field. We had such an excellent time last week during the Wild Play Day at Thacka Beck - we loved seeing so many of you there!

We don't have any spaces left on our free Have A Go session on Tuesday (if you have emailed over the weekend we will get back to you ASAP). But don't worry! We have a family 'come and drum' session with a handful of places left on the following Tuesday at 3pm - drop us an email ([email protected]) ASAP if you'd like to join us 🥁

The next session in our BlueJam summer programme for families is a musical Have a Go session on Tuesday 4th August (10am-12pm), hosted at our arts space in Penrith. At the last have a go session we played 15 instruments and had a great time! Booking is essential but there is no cost to attend - just drop us an email ([email protected]) if you'd like to come along. Please note that adults need to stay with their children during the session (we'd love for you to take part too!) ☺
