Studio K Dance & Fitness Studio K Dance & Fitness encourages children and adults to reach their potential whilst learning and educating their bodies through Dance and wellbeing.

At Studio K we teach from 3-..... (YOU ARE NEVER TOO OLD TO DANCE!)
Classes are in Contemporary Dance, Commercial Dance, RAD Ballet Graded exam pathway, Zumba Fitness and Modern Pilates. Studio K is run by Miss Kelly McClelland who has had extensive professional training and experience in the world of Dance. She also teaches and choreographs for the Centre for Advanced Training in Dance and has he

r own Professional Dance Company, Undiscovered Dance. She runs Eden Youth Dance Company and Eden Boyz Moves Dance Company alongside her School. All the students at Studio K are encouraged to achieve their best even if dance isn't their chosen path as a career as its important to see the other benefits of increased confidence, co-ordination, enjoyment and health benefits coming through when they dance. Ballet students have the opportunity to take graded exams with the Royal Academy of Dance should they wish to and Contemporary Students get many opportunities for performance. We are a very friendly and open minded school with a holistic approach and a passion that comes through from the very first class. Monday 22nd February -21st March = 4 weeks
** NO CLASSES NEXT WEEK 29th!! **
Then 3 more off 28th March and 4th April back on the 11th April.

Tuesday 23rd February - 29th March = 6 weeks
Then off 5th April back in on the 12th April
**time change to Ballet **
4pm til 4.30pm Primary
4.30pm til 5.15pm grade 1
5.30pm til 7pm Advanced

Wednesday 24th February - 30th March = 6 weeks
Then off 6th April back in on 13th April
**time changes**
4.30pm til 5.30pm Grade 2
5.30pm til 6.30pm Eden Boyz Moves
6.30pm til 7.30pm Grade 3
7.30pm til 8.30pm Grade 7/Intermediate

Thursday 25th February - 31st March = 5 weeks
**NO CLASSES ON 17th MARCH**
Then off 7th April back in on 14th April

Friday 26th February - 1st April = 5 weeks
**NO CLASSES 18th MARCH **
I know we cross over Good Friday so if you are away that's fine but ill be running classes
Then off 8th April back in on 15th April

*** CALL OUT FOR DANCERS AGED 9+***
I have a project in the pipeline with Join the Momentum for a performance at St James's Park, Newcastle on 21st May infront of up to 60,000 people with other groups to create another mass event like we did at Wembley, for the Magic Weekend

I only need 40 dancers so let me know ASAP if you can commit:

Dates needed to attend are:

weekend of 21st/22nd May Performance Newcastle
Saturday 14th May Mass Rehearsal at Widnes
Rehearsals will predominately be in class time but I will need a Saturday or 2 to bring you all together dates to be confirmed on this but will fall in the Easter Holidays.

Its £30 to be involved which covers costume cost and travel to all venues.

The dance will be simple to pick up so please message me if you can do it!!
