More insights into the zeitgeist from this year’s Foundation Carlisle show:
1. Chance procedures (rolls of the dice, Brian Eno’s Oblique Strategies, carefully fostered technical errors) are a way to disrupt the algorithm
2. Inhabiting a real live human body is great, even if it sometimes gives you the ick
3. Typography- isn’t it great?
4. Black Sabbath = still cool
