In two weeks time...
With a perfect mix of superb musicianship and comedy, the UNRAVELLING WILBURYS are
brothers ‘Sticky’ W***y, Walter, Thumper, Blind Melon and H***y Tonk, who tell their unique story on
how they became a tribute band.

Now so popular that they were even a question on TV show “The Chase”, the boys spend their time
travelling all over the UK, getting rave reviews and packing out theatres along the way in towns
whose names they’ve never heard of and can’t pronounce.

The show features the best of the Wilbury albums (‘Handle With Care’; ‘The End of The Line’; ‘The
Devil’s Been Busy’; ‘Tweeter & The Monkeyman’) alongside back-catalogue numbers such as
‘Refugee’ (Tom Petty); ‘While my Guitar Gently Weeps’ (George Harrison); ‘Like a Rollin Stone’
(Bob Dylan); ‘Only the Lonely’ (Roy Orbison) and ‘Mr. Blue Sky’ (Jeff Lynne). The act also contains
the kind of comedy only a band spending far too many nights in Travelodge hotels could dream up.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - for The Gathering and ongoing

At Penrith Playhouse we really want to keep bringing the best acts possible into from right across the country, to perform here in Penrith.

And Penrith is getting a great reputation - every week we get more and more acts who want to visit us!

However, as a volunteer run theatre, in order to keep doing that we need the people of Penrith (and surrounding areas) to generously give their time to both our bar & front of house teams.

If you join our team, we'll have a short induction session to get you up to speed in your chosen role(s), then whenever we have upcoming events after that we will send an email over with the details, and you'll be able to decide which events you do and don't volunteer on.

We have a particular need for volunteers for bar and front of house this weekend for our Afterparty following The Gathering, so whether you can do that one, or just want to be on the list for future opportunities, we'd like to hear from you.

Want more details? Send an email to PJ on [email protected] and we'll answer any questions, and see if you want to sign up

FRIDAY 13TH NOVEMBER 2026 // 7:30 PM

Peter Young has been performing his sensational Meat Loaf Tribute show for almost 20 years and is without doubt, the nearest vocally, to Meat Loaf himself.

Back Out Of Hell is Peter's creation and along with his fantastic Live Band they are now considered to be one of Europe's most authentic tributes to the rock legend.

This fantastic show features Meat Loaf’s biggest hits including I’d Do Anything For Love (But I Won’t Do That), You Took The Words Right Out Of My Mouth, Two Out Of Three Ain’t Bad, Dead Ringer For Love and of course Bat Out of Hell.

Peter has recently returned from his debut Canadian Tour and is booked to return in late 2026 and in July 2025 he took his live show to the Winter Gardens, Blackpool at the famous Opera House.

Please check out his WEBSITE below for more information, pictures and reviews. www.ultimatemeatloaf.co.uk
