Love Your Refs is about showing a bit of appreciation to some of the hardest working people in paintball.

It's not necessarily about money and stuff although refs like swag just as much as the next guy.

One of the greatest acts of respect was the Div 2 captain who cleaned the Feild every lunchtime for years and got the other team captains to join him.

It didn't take them long 😎😎😎😎😎

He said you all work really hard and I appreciate it

Sadly he's retired and so have lots of the Div 2 refs.

Refs come in all shapes and sizes and you are never too old some of the best refs started later in life.

This clinic is open to everyone and anyone who is interested in reffing.

If you are over 16 want to learn then get booked in.

Reffing is not just for the boys, the last clinic saw two new ladies, one a seasoned player and a lovely lady that's been reffing at her local site.

Paintball widows and parents are always welcome, it's a great way to get involved and learn more about the game.

If you want to improve your game as a player ref.

It will show you more than drills, you can be on Feild with some of the best in the world and see how they play and manage their game.

It's one thing listening to Billy Smith the ten man classic world champion team captain of the Rushers on the pod cast but to ref him and see the games unfold in real time is an honour and an education.

You will make friends, the team work in reffing is just as important as playing it will improve your coms.

Girlfriends and wives

And anyone who can show up with a great attitude ready to listen look and learn four or five weekends a year.

If you love it you will make friends for life, can travel all over the world and get to be in the middle of world class adrenaline packed action in one of the most exciting sports.

Refs work as a team supporting and learning from each other, its fun, it keeps you in your toes, it's good exercise out in fresh air and you get to be part of something bigger than you.

So if you want to learn more this is a fantastic opportunity to see if you've got what it takes.

After a fantastic day Reffing at Cpps I spoke to our wonderful trade stands, the gents that keep us in essentials bling and swag.
