I agree. Shared post as I’ve been thinking about practical skills lately — the ones we learned at school that were equal parts chaos, creativity and pure joy.
The photo shows girls sewing and boys doing woodwork… definitely not how it really was in my school's, and certainly not how it should be — but it did spark a bit of nostalgia.
I did woodwork, metalwork, and textiles… and proudly made a pair of banana‑yellow dungarees that absolutely glowed in the playground.

So tell me — what practical skill did you learn at school that’s stuck with you?
Was it sewing, cooking, woodwork, metalwork… or something wonderfully random?
