Yay! Looking forward to seeing what Mrs G creates 😃

I’m delighted to be able to share the news you’ve all been waiting for 😉

Eleonora has very kindly granted me permission to create a set of coordinating stitch markers for her stunning upcoming CAL “Say it with Flowers” which runs from 19th June to 27th July.

I can’t currently share any images of the stitch markers, as I’m awaiting delivery of some stock, but if you’re already a Mrs G fan, you know you won’t be disappointed, I’m sure 🥰

It's nearly Blanket Club time again at the Wool Monkey yarn shop in Pen*stone - it's getting excitingly close!

Next week, 17th June, is Blanket Club once more, where we meet to make blankets, show off blankets, play with a new blanket pattern, talk about blankets, talk about all sorts of other random stuff, eat cake and laugh lots!

It can be a real pain in the *** when your ball of yarn decides to fall apart in clumps.

It inevitably ends up in a mess.

We have a solution though! A yarn ball spinner.

Just stick your ball in the spinner and it gently spins, feeding you yarn at a rate to suit you and without getting in a tangled mess!

Sorted 😁

They’re back in stock at Wool Monkey now, so come and get them.

We had a huge top up delivery of yarn this morning in the shop.

It took me ages to unload it all. I feel like I’ve had a workout!

Now to find somewhere to put it all 😳

It’s Symfonie Diva - 75% extra fine merino and 25% silk - and it’s truly gorgeous !

Here a little post for all the amigurumi crochet fans out there.

We now have copies in stock at the Wool Monkey shop, Pen*stone, of the new crochet toy books just arrived from King Cole.

They're fab little books full of cute crocheted createures. They all work with standard DK weight yarn.

Here are just a couple of new King Cole baby knitting patterns which we have just received in the Wool Monkey yarn shop, Pen*stone.

Super cute and not too dificult!

I know there are a lot of you out there knitting baby stuff at the moment, so we need new patterns for you to play with. (There will be a couple more coming soon too)

It’s feels like this yarn should be far too warm and fluffy to be knitting in this weather. But I’m doing it anyway…

(It’s the very, very, lovely Mode at Rowan Alpaca Cotton - and yes we stock it in the Wool Monkey shop, Pen*stone)

This is my knit and chat sweater which I have been working on slowly on Tuesday mornings, ready for next Autumn. There is no rush really, but I think I would like to finish it and start something new now…
