Last year Community Arts Penicuik - CAP hosted them and it was a great night.

Biggar Little Festival welcomes registrations for music, comedy, theatre, film, children’s entertainment and literary events. This year’s Festival runs from 16th - 25th October.

To take part in the Festival as a performer, musician or event organiser, it is up to you to plan your own event, book a suitable venue and register your event with BLF.

We charge a basic non refundable registration fee at point of registration and this covers your listing in the printed program which includes a description of the event, venue location, times and ticketing information.

Each event will get at least one post on our active social media page and we encourage organisers to tag and share reels and posts with us in the run up to the Festival. We will endeavour to reshare to our page or our stories. We welcome collaborative posts too.

We have our own established ticketing service which includes telephone and online sales from August and in person at our Box Office in October.
Event organisers decide their own ticket prices (we are happy to advise) and the published ticket price includes a box office fee of £1.50 (inc VAT) with a 5% fee for BLF administration costs on the net ticket sales.

Event organisers are responsible for their own front of house and may sell further tickets on the door with your own payment options (cash/card)
Please note - Biggar Corn Exchange has its own ticketing service.

Biggar has a choice of excellent venues which host festival events. It is useful to consider the potential size of your audience and the venue capacity, together with any essential facilities you may need. Find venue information in our FAQs section - https://www.biggarlittlefestival.com/faqs

Public Liability insurance is essential for all events and a public entertainment licence where appropriate. Check the venue which you are using whether or not such a licence will be required and make sure you or the venue also hold a Music Licence if this is also needed.
