A fantastic gathering of the bass community, with wonderful players, great people from the industry and plenty of passion for the instrument we all love.

🔥 IT’S TODAY — THE INAUGURAL SOLO BASS CONTEST & EXHIBITION! 🔥

The day is finally here! Today, bass players, friends, music lovers, exhibitors and members of the bass community come together in Penarth, Wales for our very first Solo Bass Contest & Exhibition. 🎸

And while it’s called a contest, this day has always been about so much more than competition.

It’s about friendship, music, sharing ideas, meeting old friends and making new ones. It’s about supporting and encouraging the incredible players who have the courage to step up with nothing but a bass in their hands and show us what they can do.

We’ve got wonderful players, fantastic judges, great people from the bass industry, plenty of amazing gear to see and try — and, hopefully, plenty of laughs along the way!

Whether you’re competing, exhibiting, playing, or simply coming along because you love the bass, you’re part of it. ❤️🎶

Let’s make this first event something we’ll remember — and hopefully the beginning of a tradition that continues for many years to come.
