Nick Davies, artist and curator of "Conversations with Ancient Landscapes", will be present in the gallery to talk informally to visitors about the exhibition.

Sarah Persson will be giving two poetry readings in the gallery (13.00 and 15.00 hours);poetry inspired by and incorporated in the exhibition.

Free event and all welcome!

There will also be a poetry pamphlet for sale (£5)

As the United States of America celebrates its 250th birthday, join art historian Morgan Haigh for an exploration of the art of the USA in this 5 week art history course.

Led by Morgan Haigh MA — art historian, writer, lecturer, and Courtauld-trained specialist from Cardiff — this course offers an engaging introduction to one of the world’s most varied and influential artistic traditions.

Trace the steps of Richard Wilson, J.M.W. Turner, Cornelius Varley, John Sell Cotman, Kyffin Williams, Bedwyr Williams and many other artists as they portray Cader Idris, showing us through an extensive and varied selection of images, how for over 250 years, the mountain has remained a reliable source of artistic inspiration in an ever-changing world.
