The Unit is a dance collective which was assembled in 2017. The spirit each of the members is inspired by, has been instilled within them along the journey that choreography and dance have taken them on up to this point, and the direction they now want to shift their artistry towards. The Unit brings together Deedee Clark, Kimberly Lowell, Leanne Vella, Nicole Schembri and Steffi Schranz. The foun

ding members each bring their own dance background, having been trained in different techniques and having focused on their own genre of choice. The group aims to collaborate with other artists in an effort to create new work that will continue to stimulate the local artistic and cultural scene.
