I would love to know if you find one of my pebbles, tell me which one and where you found it. I am a self taught very amateur artist and general crafter. I started painting during a very dark time in my life, which gave me a sense of inner peace and calm. In the past I have only shared my art with family and friends as gifts. During the Covid-19 pandemic I had to stop crocheting due to carpel tunnel numbness in my thumb, but then came across Pebble Painting. I now fill my time when I am not working, painting again and I love it. After filling my home and garden with painted pebbles, painting fairy doors on rocks for my granddaughter's fairy garden and giving pebbles to caring people in my street, I needed another outlet for my pebbles. Searching the internet again I discovered people sell their painted pebbles on etsy and other places, but that didn't feel like the right fit for me. Then I discovered lots of pebble hiding groups, and knew that is what I wanted to do. I wanted to keep a bit of mystery and so created a simple name for my fb page. There are two main places that I will discreetly leave pebbles to be found, Abergavenny and Pembrey Country Park. If you find one I would love to know which pebble and where it was found, just see if they travel. If you find one of my pebbles you can choose to keep it as a memento or you can choose to re-hide it. Ultimately I hope you enjoyed seeing it.
