is run by Lindsay Spear who is a trained actor graduating from the Arden School of Theatre, Manchester with a BA in Acting with Distinction and has 15 years’ experience teaching creative drama to 3 to 18 year olds. As a freelancer, Lindsay has worked with multiple companies over the years such as The Royal Lyceum Theatre, The Drama Studio, Stage Coach, Love Drama, Borders Youth Theatre, and also h
elped set up The Drama Mill company in East Lothian. She is passionate about the positivity drama can have on children and young people. She has seen it work as a great tool to open children up to experiences and opportunities they may never have had, encouraging them to learn in a creative way. She trusts it can give
them an inclusive voice as individuals as well as a team. She believes drama increases children’s confidence, presentation skills and creativity, and
contributes hugely to their health and wellbeing, as well as building social skills.
