STILL LOOKING FOR A KEEN MALE VOCALIST/GUITAR for duo (Harmonies or lead).
Looking to cover quality close harmony songs. Simon and Garfunkel, Beatles, Jason Mraz, Paolo Nutini, James Taylor, America, Wings, ELO, Fleetwood Mac, REM, Passenger, Cat Stevens(Yusuf). Extreme(More than Words). Anything with nice solid harmonies. Open to suggestions. I can play guitar parts and sing harmony or lead, so flexible. Just for fun or maybe perform at our amateur music club when ready. Best if fairly local. Brighton, Peacehaven, Newhaven area maybe.

The club loosely comprises a fluid 10-15 members with a 50:50 male/female mix, of which 5-8 usually attend We limit performers' numbers (first come first served) as this gives everyone plenty of chances to perform, usually 7-10 laps of the room, so a bit more than you get at open mic. sessions. Some members play in duos. Duos get a song each.

We are a right mixture of age, ability and sanity. Anything acoustic goes, and we have a huge range of styles and genres with many members playing their own compositions. If you so wish you can invite others to join in, but it's not an everybody join in, come-ye-all folk type night.
With a bit of notice we can find somebody to back you if required.

We have free to use venues (very kind pubs) in and around Peacehaven and usually meet on the 3rd Wed of each month, 19:00 to 23:00, but come and go as you please. Sometimes if pubs can't host we meet at members' houses.

We could really do with a few more members, so please feel free to come along and practice your mistakes with us, or just listen and see if it's for you. Any questions? Fire away.
