Sling Swing South Staffs and Shropshire Welcome to Sling Swing! Fun and funky dancing and gentle movement classes for mums and dads or carers with their little ones in slings and baby carriers.

Sling Swing is an exciting gentle movement and dance class for mums and dads or carers with their babies and toddlers in soft structured slings and baby carriers or wraps. Musical styles include pop, hip hop, Charleston, Cha Cha, Salsa, Swing, Disco, Motown, 90s, Musical theatre and much more. Participants are encouraged to wear their little ones in high quality slings and carriers. Classes are fu

n, exciting and innovative. Come along and have a boogie!! Spare slings and carriers will always be available for any moms and dads who don’t have one but would like to try the class and we will be able to point you in the right direction if you would like to purchase your own sling. The aim of the classes is to have fun in a friendly, musical environment and to really bond with your baby! Sling Swing sessions also include a Sling Swing social where parents and carers have time to chat to other parents, enjoy some light refreshments, try out different slings and read information on safe babywearing. Sling Swing was founded in 2013 by Carly Birchell in Wolverhampton. Sarah Dunn is launching the South Staffordshire and Shropshire franchise in September 2014. Sarah completed a BAHons in Dance, Physical Education and Coaching at Chester University, she went on to complete a Post Graduate Certificate in Education and has been a Teacher of PE for 10 years. After having a baby Sarah has decided to try out a new venture and is extremely excited to be launching her own business.

Class is back on as normal tomorrow at Perton Library 10am! Come along to your first session for free! Don't worry if you don't have a carrier there are slings for you to try and see which suits you best!

Unfortunately, Sling Swing class at JungleLand Telford is cancelled today as baby Evan has been poorly. We will be back at Telford next Wednesday so don't forget to book onto a session! Your first one is free and you can borrow one of our slings we have many different ones for you to try from wraps to buckles!
Perton class should go ahead as normal on Friday.
