🎤Thank you to everyone who joined us on the Scottish tour of Common Tongue. We feel incredibly lucky to have had such generous audiences. Hearing your stories post-show was always the highlight of each night - just like Bonnie, we love listening tae fowk.

Dumfries! You don’t want to miss Common Tongue - this Thursday 16 October 7:30pm at Theatre Royal Dumfries.

Join Bonnie as she traces the history of her voice; from primary school solo talks to University Burns studies to her papa’s pub poetry. Common Tongue is “a stirring celebration of the humour and power of Scots” (The Stage ****).

This critically acclaimed production is a guaranteed good night out, with big laughs and plenty heart - you won’t want to miss Common Tongue.

PIEUTE X COMMON TONGUE

The ‘IT ISNAE SLANG’ design by Robyn Black features an illustration of a hand pinching a tartan speech bubble on the back. The Common Tongue tartan is woven from layers of Fraser Scott’s script, exploring how it feels to be Scottish.
Too Scottish, not Scottish enough, Scottish but posh, Scottish but cringe.
