We are looking for an enthusiastic, confident and motivated individual. Must be available to work on a flexible basis, as part of a team and show initiative, alongside excellent communication skills. Some experience of the role preferred, although not essential.
We are looking to strengthen as an organisation by creating a role engaging with service users and third sector organisations. You will gather feedback and impact evidence of what we currently do as an organisation, within our community, to identify the best possible future service needs and support in the development of future service strategies. The role will involve engaging with community groups, who we deliver services to, to get their views and ideas around our services and how we could improve on them in the future. The role will also be required to attend local third sector network meetings to promote our services and identify the needs of the community. The role will specifically be aimed at engaging with the most vulnerable in our community such as those with additional support needs, those experiencing mental health challenges, in recovery, in isolation or in hardship.
This new role will also be continually upskilled to identify any service user needs and be able to signpost them to any relevant local third sector services they may require. Evaluation training will be key for this role too.
This position will be 15hrs per week for 2 years. Some experience is preferred.
1. Meet service users and gather meaningful feedback to help us mold new ideas and ways of working for the future.
2. Gather evidence, such as questionnaire results from questionnaires that are carefully designed to understand the best impact of participants wellbeing
3. Gather evidence, such as film and photos
4. Attend third sector network meetings
5. Prepare impact statements and feedback information for funders.
6. Update funders tracking systems weekly with service users information and progress.
7. Continually upskill by attending third sector training opportunities around supporting the vulnerable groups mentioned.
8. Meet the Music Development Director weekly to discuss findings, prepare for the week ahead and be coached in the role.
9. Support in the design of future strategies with the Music Development Coordinator and the Managing Director using feedback to try out new ideas and ways of working to improve people's lives and wellbeing.
15 hrs per week for 2 years
Year 1 - £11700 gross salary £15 p/hr
Year 2 - £12168 gross salary £15.60 p/hr
