We're taking part in Renfrewshire Doors Open Days this Saturday from 10-4pm (please note: we are closed on Sunday).

You can have a look around our building, a 1931 Art Deco exemplar. While you're in, you can visit Big Art Show and see over 1000 artworks over two floors.

Come and join us at The Art Department, Paisley for some hand building pottery classes with David Gillanders running in conjunction with this year's Big Art Show

The classes give you the chance to discover the differences between clay bodies, hand building processes and firing techniques.

You will be encouraged to design and make some pieces of your own, or follow along with David as he demonstrates how he makes a Japanese tea bowl. Texturise and decorate your work for it to be fired and collected at a later date.

Get creative, get your hands dirty and have some fun!

Now's your chance to sign up for our Autumn season of art classes which runs alongside this year's Big Art Show.

We are taking bookings just now for painting, pottery, printmaking, drawing, glass art, sewing, kids classes and collage.
