Just sitting down to do some stitching for the first time in ages, I thought I'd share my big (little) project from last year....

When I started planning the wedding, I really wanted to incorporate cross stitch because it's always what I've loved. When you make you often spend time imagining what a stitch could look like when you meet someone new, and when it came to choosing our vendors I just kept picturing them as cross stitch!Β 

So, I made the crazy decision to design stitch people hoops for as many vendors as possible. It was easy for the seamstress, makeup artist, celebrant and hairdresser as I'd met them all in person, but it was a bigger task for those I hadn't actually met at all. It took some serious social media stalking to try to get a good enough likeness! Plus I did some searching to find accessories and logos I could include which would make them more recognisable.Β 

Once I'd finished the hoops they were ready to be packaged... so of course I had to design and make boxes on my trusty Cricut machine!! I really loved how these came out and everyone was so happy to receive their gifts.Β
