That’s the curtains closed on ‘A Christmas Carol’ and what a time we had!
Firstly we would like to thank our terrific members of the cast. Each of you put such great effort into bringing your characters to life and truly shone on that stage! Not only this, but the level of support you give each other at rehearsals and backstage makes our close knit group even more special.
Secondly, a massive thank you goes to our production team Katie, Charlotte and Jess, and of course our wonderful committee members!
Each of you have the most vital roles in our company and without you both ‘9-5’ and ‘A Christmas Carol’ would not be the successes that they were! From brilliant directing, amazing music direction, jaw dropping choreography, phenomenal prop making, eye catching advertisements and beautiful costume sourcing and making! We are truly lucky to have such committed members and appreciate the hard work that you do!
Thirdly, a massive thank you goes to Richard Powell. Richard wrote half of the beautiful music that our audiences were blessed with, spent ages up ladders fixing and setting up light and projection placements, and was there every show to make sure every light was right on cue(and direct us when our singing was out of time😂)! As well as this, Richard has been such a massive positive energy within the company and we are so happy to have him!
Fourthly, we would like to thank the devoted members of staff at Gallowhill Community Centre for their constant eagerness to help, and our brilliant bunch of volunteers who helped with costume, ran tuck shop and sold/checked tickets.
Thank you Yvonne, Luke, Craig, Nic, Katie, and Gemma for giving us your time!
Thanks also goes to our curtain wiz, Kieran, for lending his help every performance and providing seamless transitions.
To Scott Potter, for his brilliant craftsmanship of props and his help backstage each show.
To Craig and Greig, for their help with technical setup.
To Sma shott cottage Paisley for the lovely donations of costumes and props for us to use in our production. They were very effective in transporting our cast back in time!
And last but certainly not least, thank you so much to our fantastic audiences for your support. We loved having you there with us and we hope you enjoyed our production as much as we did performing it!
