🎤 Olly’s first stand-up comedy gig... and he absolutely smashed it! 😂The audience loved every minute. What a performance!
Having a learning disability doesn't define what you can achieve. We're so proud of you, Olly🌟💙

What an incredible achievement! 🎤🌟A huge congratulations to our amazing student, Olly who performed his very first stand-up comedy gig yesterday and he absolutely smashed it! His confidence, brilliant timing and hilarious jokes had the whole audience laughing from start to finish.
Watching Olly own the stage was such a proud moment. It’s a fantastic reminder that having a learning disability does NOT define what someone can achieve. With the right opportunities, encouragement and belief, people can shine in ways that inspire us all.
We're so proud of you, Olly. Here's to many more performances! 👏❤️

What a fantastic morning with the wonderful team at Collective Acting Studio! 🎭 Make A Scene delivered a workshop exploring learning disabilities and neurodivergence in the performing arts. It was inspiring to work alongside such creative, enthusiastic and open-minded staff, all committed to making theatre more accessible and inclusive for everyone.
Thank you for having me and for engaging so thoughtfully in the discussions and practical activities. Together, we can continue creating spaces where everyone has the opportunity to shine. ✨

💜 Learning Disability Week 💜
At Make a Scene Theatre, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to be seen, heard and celebrated. This Learning Disability Week, we're proud to provide a safe, inclusive and creative space where adults with learning disabilities can build confidence, make friendships, express themselves and shine on stage.
Every rehearsal, every performance and every smile reminds us that theatre has the power to break down barriers and bring people together. We celebrate the talents, achievements and voices of all our amazing members who inspire us every single day.
Together, let's continue creating a world where everyone belongs and everyone has the chance to take centre stage. 🎭✨

Today I had the absolute pleasure of visiting Flute Theatre and sitting in on rehearsals for King Leah. It was truly inspiring to see such a talented group of autistic actors bringing the work to life with such creativity, honesty and passion. The room was full of energy, focus and brilliant storytelling a real reminder of the power of inclusive theatre. Thank you Kelly and Harry for having me, I left feeling so uplifted and inspired ✨
