Our fabulous leader, Angela Knapp, who started up the group in 2016 has now done 240 sessions and is stepping down to run just the Abingdon group. We are full of admiration and so grateful for the wonderful singing fun we have had over the months and years. Thank you Angela for inspiring us all! I am very excited to be taking over on Wednesday 6 September.

There is a petition to sign, please – get everyone to sign - even if they are not choir members.

It calls on the government to retract the guidance issued on 18 May that choirs may only rehearse indoors in a single group of six.

I would like the government to retract the guidance issued on 18 May that says amateur choirs can only rehearse indoors in groups of six. Step 3 of the roadmap should allow choirs of any size to rehearse indoors providing social distancing is maintained and COVID-secure measures are in place.
