'Cuddy is a great character because he's so versatile. Originally written as an innocent clown, we've corrupted him and given him this dark side that's amazing to play; being able to switch between the two, sometimes mid-scene, has enabled me to tap into the comedy and the drama of Cuddy. His relationship with Dog is super weird so that's been really fun to explore - you never quite know what to expect from him.'
