Thank you for everyone who came to Passiontide at Merton 2019. It was a wonderful occasion and it was lovely to be able to share it with so many people. We welcomed well over 1000 people to our concerts and services, with 100 musicians performing, over the three days.

We wish you a very happy Easter when it comes and hope to see you all again soon.

The 10th Passiontide at Merton starts in 17 days!

We will be welcoming Riga Vocal Quartet, Ipswich Girls' Choir, Elin Manahan Thomas and Mark Wilde, who will be performing alongside The Choir of Merton College, Oxford and The Merton College Choristers.

They will be performing a large range of music including Gabriel Jackson's Exile Meditations, Pergolesi's Stabat Mater, finishing with the epic St Matthew Passion by JS Bach.

Our Passiontide Festival will be taking place Friday 23 - Sunday 25 March 2018. Passiontide is a weekend of concerts and services with performances by The Marian Consort, The Choir of Merton College, Oxford, The Merton College Girls' Choir, Organist James Lancelot & Instruments of Time and Truth.

The weekend ends with a peformance of JS Bach's B minor Mass, with soloists Rowan Pierce, Jeremy Kenyon, James Gilchrist and Giles Underwood, supported by The Choir of Merton College, Oxford. This all takes place in the beautiful surroundings of the College Chapel.
