++ ANNOUNCEMENT ++
Firstly I want to thank all 2000 something of you for all of your love, support, good vibes and good mixes and events over the years. I started rinse over 3 years ago from a place of love for my at the time up and coming DJ partner. with myself behind the scenes making the events a reality. I put a lot of love, time, and care into these events, and my ultimate goal was to give a platform for DJs just starting out and giving locals a place to really cut their teeth.
We ended up creating a real community of Drum and bass Heads from all over the country, and built big family connections with the other drum and base crews in the area. For all of this, I am thankful and don't regret a single thing that came from rinse! And I cant forget the people who helped me along the way, like Bitter Pill Apparel with the day to day and vital promotional tasks.
Rinse will forever have a place in my heart and be the place I met some of my now closest friends, even though we may not see each other now because of the pandemic.
Last week I left my position at The Bullingdon as Marketing Manager, which is the venue which Rinse was held. So for the foreseeable future, Rinse will no longer be a real life event, unless I was to put it on in Reading, which is where I am now living.
But nothing is set in stone and I don't know what will happen next with the free events community.
But I would be keen to keep this once Oxford based event IN Oxford if possible.
So I ask my beautiful Rinse community. Would anyone like the opportunity to take over Rinse as a brand and an event? I would love to see it flourish under new ownership and keep our incredible community alive and thriving. If you feel you can uphold the Rinse values and bring Rinse to new and innovative heights, Please don't hesitate to get in touch.
Love yall
Sam xx
