Two good regional results - Zodie and Samantha 4th with just over 70% at Onley Ground, and now the new combination of Katie and Paris came 14th in a hot elementary freestyle at Wellington regional - well done!!

I was delighted to hear from Katie that she and Sarah Hawkins' Parisienne had won their elementary freestyle at Windmill Farm on 72.88% - this with their reworked music for their new floorplan, using the same tracks. A lovely comment from the judge: 'Great phraseology and super music.' !!

So Addington are now asking for downloaded music, not CDs or memory sticks. I wonder what other venues will be doing this year? And what format they will want? Hopefully mp3 as small enough files to attach to an email, though 'lossy'!

I've just heard that Samantha and Zodie came 4th in their novice silver regional at Onley Ground with a score of 70.09! Lovely result! So pleased for them!

Lovely to hear from Samantha Black today that she and Zodie won their first freestyle with her new music - 73.56% - a great score! And I was pleased to learn that the judges still like the wonderful old music of Beach Boys and Neil Diamond, giving her an 8 for music.

And Sarah Hawkins told me recently that her mare, Parisienne, now ridden by Katie Rzepka, has been doing very well with music I made for Katie's previous horse, several years ago, to girl band music. Well done to all of you!

If you haven't yet, do watch Charlotte Fry and Glamourdale's absolutely breathtaking World Championship freestyle! The most exciting to watch since Edward Gal and Totilas, in my opinion. And lovely that Queen's music starts the show so powerfully!

Congratulations to Beli Kilroy and Mary Star - winners of the Intermediate Freestyle at the Pony Club Championships yesterday with 76.11%, then runners-up in the ride-off between first and second in the three championships. Music by Beltyne Music for Freestyle, trained by my daughter Tiggi, dressage trainer for South Oxon Central Pony Club.

Sadly, Tamsin didn't get to use her freestyle music at the World Championships, but I'm sure she had a great time and the Irish team came 9th - a very good result!

I had a desperate email from Tamsin yesterday - her freestyle CD has been smashed, with a picture to prove it! I wonder if Fursty stood on it?! I sent new copies to her electronically, so hopefully all will be well.

Her team test with Vanessa Mae music is tomorrow, so fingers crossed!

Beli and Mary Star came second in the novice freestyle at the Pony Club Championships and Lucy and Buddy also came second in the open freestyle with over 76%, so all concerned were very pleased!

The new Team Test CD I made for Tamsin was approved by her Paralympic trainer - and I've just tweaked her freestyle, so she is now set up with music for the competitions! Wishing her and the Irish team lots of luck!

Also wishing good luck to Lucy and Buddy and Belli and Mary, in the freestyles at the Pony Club Championships later this month.

Interestingly, two previous clients got in touch this month to ask if I could replace CDs which they had lost - fortunately, as I keep a copy of every compilation, I was able to supply their music!

Go Team Ireland!

The Irish Paralympic team has been announced today and Tamsin Addison will be contesting her first Paralympic Games!

I've created a new Team Test music compilation for her, but we are sticking with the Freestyle music she trialed at Hartpury.
