Attention Humans! This is HENGE 👾
Saturday 13 June WMF Headliner
🎟️ https://www.skiddle.com/e/42091744

We are not from this world.
We bring you music from distant planets.
We offer this gift for the edification of humankind… so that eventually your species may put an end to war and set up new homes in space.

Extra-terrestrial joymongers HENGE have been delighting audiences across the UK and Europe since landing on Planet Earth over a decade ago. Their scintillating live performances earned them ‘Best Live Act’ at the Independent Festival Awards. With four acclaimed albums and their own comic book series expanding the HENGE mythos, they continue to spread their message of unity and joy wherever they touch down.

Their latest album, Journey to Voltus B, expands their intergalactic mythology with a conceptually ambitious release that features a novel twist - a double-groove vinyl pressing that offers two possible endings, depending on where the needle lands. The album has received glowing reviews, sold out headline shows across the UK and Europe, and earned radio support from BBC 6 Music tastemakers including Stuart Maconie, Deb Grant, and Craig Charles.

The music escapes definition, but occupies a space between rave and prog rock that nobody knew existed. It is energetic, subversive and invigoratingly playful, jovially going ‘where no one has gone before’. Ultimately, HENGE are spreading a message of hope which leaves audiences feeling amused and uplifted in equal measures.

Now she is set for the most exciting release of her career. “My new album Warpaint is going to blow Punk rocker out of the water” Thom states.

Having spent a significant time in the Middle East doing humanitarian work with street dogs and cats Sandi Thom has been of the radar for several years. However, having now permanently relocated back to Scotland Sandi is back and better than ever. “I’ve grown so much in these past years that I’ve been off the road” Thom says, “my experiences have really shaped me and been amazing inspiration for my latest songs” . With over 90 million Spotify streams the Scottish singer’s popularity continues to grow organically. “I’m always so humbled at how my songs just seem to continue to connect with people” she says.

I am so excited to be hitting the road again, playing live, getting back in the studio and just immersing myself in the industry again. I’ve had a huge amount of time off focusing on raising my son, but he’s now at a wonderful new school in Scotland and is flourishing into an amazing young and very talented little man!” With her continued organic growth in popularity Thom says she’s so excited about getting stuck back into her career and can’t wait to release the hotly anticipated 7th studio album in 2026.
