At the start of the season, we set our U12s and U14s a challenge using the 10,000 Shot Challenge app.

The aim was to encourage players to get extra practice away from club training in a simple, cost-effective way. As a team, they were challenged to record over 100,000 shots across the season, while an individual competition ran alongside it for the players with the highest shot totals.i

Congratulations to our winners:

🏆 U14s – Finley Snuggs
🏆 U12s – Jack Nicholls

Coincidentally, both players also finished the season as top goal scorers in their respective age group teams. Proof that the extra work away from training pays off!

Well done to everyone who took part and embraced the challenge throughout the season.

The Oxford Junior Stars U16s secured the English Ice Hockey Association (EIHA) U16 Division 2 National Championship.

The moment we became U16 Division 2 National Champions! 🏒⭐

What a weekend. What a season.
Not just for these incredible U16s, but for junior hockey in Oxford as a whole. Huge congratulations to all of our Junior Stars.

Thank you to everyone who has supported these young players in their development, both on and off the ice. In particular, thank you to the Oxford coaches and managers who volunteer their time, energy, and expertise to give these players such amazing opportunities.

Thank you also to the families for their unwavering support, and wow, did they bring the noise this weekend! 📣

We now look forward to celebrating together as a club this weekend, enjoying the summer tournaments ahead, and then taking a well-earned rest before launching into the 2026–27 season. Who knows what that might hold?

⭐🏒 National Weekend is here! 🏒⭐

This weekend our U16s head to Sheffield to represent Oxford Junior Stars at the England Ice Hockey Junior National Finals.

For the first time in club history, an Oxford Junior Stars team has reached Nationals, capping off a remarkable season that saw the team crowned South 2 League Champions with an outstanding record of 14 wins, 1 draw and just 1 defeat.

Representing Oxford this weekend as they take on North 2 Champions Nottingham are:
Will S, Fin, Nico, Rowan, Matthew, Luca, Fergus, Nathan, Wyatt, Ethan, Olly, Riley, Sofia, Billy, Elias, Jack, Will F, Noah, Jax, Harrison, Tima and Will M.

This group has played for each other all season, showing commitment, passion and resilience every step of the way. They have made the entire club proud and whatever happens this weekend, they have already written themselves into Oxford Junior Stars history.

The whole Oxford hockey community is behind you. Play hard and proud, enjoy every moment, and make some epic memories. 💙⭐
