Join us for a gentle (st)roll and picnic around the botanic gardens!!

Raspberry Ripples is a social group for Disabled Qu**rs, anyone who identifies with Disability is welcome! From long term illness, physical disability to mental health issues or neurodiversity, anyone can join the berries (without a doctors note, pip letter or doctors note 😜)

We want to open a Q***r Community Hub in Oxford!

Slide 4 reads In an ideal world we would also like access to space 9am - 10pm, Kitchenette, on site parking, outdoor area, a small secondary space to act as a quiet area, central location, cafe in walking distance and lots of storage. 📣 We now have the option to donate to us monthly!

We create fun and accessible Q***r arts and social events in Oxfordshire, and actively welcome and uplift marginalised voices.

40% of LGBTQIA+ people in Oxfordshire are Disabled. But the vast majority of q***r events in Oxfordshire are held in inaccessible venues, isolating some of the most vulnerable members of our community.

We only use accessible venues and are committed to making Disabled members of the community feel welcome.

We're looking for someone to help out with our yoga sessions - no experience needed!

You will:
- Help to set up the space, putting out lights and drinks
- Ensure clear signage is up so people know where we are
- Take any ticket payments

In return you will get free tickets to our Yoga sessions!

Our Q***r Yoga sessions run every 3rd Sunday of the month at East Oxford Community Centre from 1:30pm.

Apologies all: tomorrow’s scheduled botanic gardens meet up will be postponed due to wet weather this weekend and general exhaustion! We will arrange a new date soon! Sorry for any disappointment 💔

In the meantime, don’t forget our meet up next weekend for an exclusive tour of the incredible SCRAPS exhibition at Cornerstone Arts Centre. Do get in touch if you need any help with access/travel!

😍 This May Fruit Cakes and Raspberry Ripples are joining up for a combined social!

🎨 We'll be meeting at on Sat 9 May for a tour of the .collective exhibition led by the artists themselves!

☕ We'll also have a social in the study at the same time, so you can move between the art exhibition and the social!

No need to book, just meet us at The Cornerstone at 2pm. This is a drop in session with no need to book. Find us in the study behind reception, and someone can point you towards the exhibition!
