The first of our inaugural 'Music in the Ballroom' recitals will be performed by Artistic Director & CEO, John Savournin, and celebrated Serbian accordionist, Miloš Milivojević, on the 8th August at 5pm.

A thoughtful programme of words and music, exploring the works of Shakespeare in song and in his plays, this theatrical concert features interwoven extracts from Shakespeare's plays with songs of his words set by a broad spectrum of composers, all accompanied by accordion. The programme will also feature captivating, rarely heard solos for accordion.

Introducing our 2026 Young Artists! ⭐

We are so excited to be welcoming five singers and two directors to the team at Waterperry Opera Festival this summer on our 2026 Young Artist Programme. The group will receive professional coaching and guidance from leading practitioners and the programme's co-directors, Rebecca Meltzer and Ashley Beauchamp, alongside featuring in this year's mainstage productions, La bohème and The Elixir of Love 🎶
