Took a break from convention prep and commissions to sketch these ceratopsians☺️ I've been thinking a lot about projects that depict alternate futures where humans (or something akin to humans) lived alongside dinosaurs. Dinotopia is one of the most iconic, but I also adore Dead Sound's short films depicting 'evolved' forms of dinosaurs using tools and adopting unique cultures.

This Sinoceratops (top right) seems like a trusted mount for noble folk while the Centrosaurus (bottom left) might be a steed for a well-off merchant's caravan...

(I draw A LOT of carnivores so this was also a good opportunity to practice different forms with herbivores 😂)

New patch design featuring 'Buried Treasure' (a princely shark!)

Really excited to introduce a new option for A6 sized patches since the animal skull series was received so well 🥹🫶

This and two of the older designs (ram & crow skulls) are printed on natural white fabric instead of black fabric and I think the design does screen print more cleanly this way! But we shall see how you people like this version at all the in-person events we have lined up for the rest of 2026~

Cover reveal for 'Instead of Us'!

So delighted with how this turned out and extra hyped to get all these pages professionally scanned before their first print run ^^

I inverted the cover at the end of the carousel so you could see the characters from a different perspective, lots of bones as usual!!

FINAL PAGE! It has been so much fun to work on this personal project, the pages have really been flowing in a way that I haven't experienced in a long time~

Also, fun fact, I first created Soulbearer as a pen sketch when I was around 17 so they have truly been living rent free in my head for much of my adult life 😅😁

I will be sharing the cover page this weekend and hopefully have the whole comic ready by this autumn 🍂!!

Really pleased with this one ^^ I love how the fur flows from the ruff of Soulbearer at the middle of the page to the curve of the body at the bottom. Although tricky, it was a fun challenge to get the anatomy to make sense within the bounds of a single comic page!
