Locomotion delivers lessons to nursery and primary school children during the academic day, after-school clubs in the afternoon, and IDTA syllabus lessons to adults and children in the evening and at a weekend. We pride ourselves on our teaching environments being enriched with encouragement, praise, knowledge, and support, thus creating the perfect setting to nurture every individual. At the hear

t of all our sessions, our highly qualified and extensively experienced teachers have a focus on student enjoyment and progression. We embed a hidden curriculum of literacy, mathematics, anatomy, physiology, dance history and many more key areas. Not only do our students develop their dance ability, but their confidence, self-esteem, social skills, team work, problem solving...the list is endless!

IDTA Exams & Performances
Students have the opportunity and are encouraged to participate in performances and IDTA examinations, although these are not compulsory.
