We are so lucky that when Miss Burrow comes home for her “holidays” she jumps straight back into the JW Dance teaching team!

8 competition solos prepped, planned and taught this week! 🥰

We are so grateful to have her creative talents, and technical expertise, thank you louise_zoe

Also, a huge thank you to Isla, Olivia, Pippa & Skylar who entertained the Friendship Group on Tuesday. Through Ottery Help Scheme, the Friendship Group get together once a month for tea, cake & a natter! What a lovely occasion to be a part of, we look forward to visiting again soon! 💙

We finished the academic year with 2 ISTD tap and modern exam sessions and 1 RAD ballet session! Phew! 🙌

Incredible work from our exam dancers, and syllabus teachers, we have received AMAZING results! 🥰

Now for a quieter week before Summer School starting on Monday 10th Aug. 🤩

Well done to fabulous Freya who danced at the Royal Ballet School this weekend!

Alongside her training with, us Freya attends Ballet Boost - an associate ballet training programme in Exeter. These ballerinas were lucky to have a workshop class in Covent Garden followed by a showcase for their families.

JW Dance Awards 2026 💙

What a wonderful afternoon celebrating everything that makes JW Dance so special.

To our incredible, hardworking dancers, our amazing teachers and assistants, our Performance Team, Competition Team, exam dancers, and every single member of the JW Dance family – today was all about celebrating you.

It was so special to come together and reflect on what has been an incredible academic year.

There was so much love, support, and joy in the room, and we couldn't be prouder of everything you've achieved.

You make us, as teachers, incredibly proud every single day, and we genuinely love what we do because of each and every one of you.

Thank you for a truly wonderful dancing year.

JW DANCE ON TOUR! 🤩

A huge well done to all of our amazing dancers! Today we performed at two fantastic summer fetes! 🌟

First stop: Offwell Primary School Fete, followed by West Hill Primary School Fete. Both events were full of fun, with so much to see and do, thank you for inviting us.

A massive thank you to all our dance families for getting everyone to the right place, in costume, and performance-ready – you're absolute wonderful! ❤️

And to our dancers... those smiles just keep getting bigger every week, and we absolutely love to see it! ✨💃

We're not slowing down yet!

Next week we have three more performances:
