Last week at our Rome Summer Workshops, we explored the Colosseum with dip pen & ink followed by a watercolour centurion helmet.
Two mediums and such concentration delivered some amazing art.

Today we celebrate our term time artists. From as young as 6, they come weekly to draw, paint, sculpt. They’ve doubted themselves, persevered, over achieved, and grown in confidence under the calm and nurturing guidance of our wonderful teachers and assistants.
I am so incredibly proud of them all.
So please come and help us celebrate by popping in to our free exhibition today showcasing a small selection loaned by the artists themselves.
Saturday 22nd August in the Festival Suite upstairs at the Oswestry Memorial Hall between 12.30 - 13.30.
Part of the Open Day, day of celebrations 11:00 - 15:00.

Fancy joining us to recreate this Friday Kahlo ‘self portrait with monkeys’?
we’ll be using watercolour paints and watercolour pencils.
Drawing people is not my forte….but you learn and grow by trying new things. I’ve made mine with a rather long neck 😉 but I’m proud of the finished result.
