On Thursday, 17th August, the Ribble Valley Dementia Alliance are providing a drop-in event to showcase local support services for people living with dementia in the Ribble Valley. The event will take place 11: 30 am - 2 pm at the Barrow Village Town Hall, BB7 9AU. Today, our Clitheroe group worked on mosaic designs and made vases for next week’s flower-arranging session. πŸ’ Some people finished their mosaics and then moved on to canvas painting πŸŽ¨πŸ–Œ There’s always something for everyone at our sessions. Check out! πŸ‘€ their work below πŸ‘‡πŸ€© We hold these sessions every Thursday from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm at the National Federation of Young Farmers' Centre at the Auction Mart in Clitheroe. Thanks to support from the NHS Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care Board (LSC ICB) and the Hyndburn and Ribble Valley CVS , these sessions are free. The sessions are especially helpful for people living with neurodiversity, SEN, or social anxiety. These workshops are a fantastic way to learn new skills and meet others in a safe, supportive space, all led by a qualified Arts Health practitioner. ✨ Yesterday, Colourful Memories CIC returned to Padiham! πŸ–ŒπŸŒˆπŸŽ¨ This week, we explored T-shirt design! πŸ‘• Everyone created their own unique T-shirts. Using fabric pens, attendees created freehand art on their T-shirts. Check out! πŸ‘€ below πŸ‘‡ to see how colourful and AMAZING 🀩 they turned out. ✨ Today we started our Arts Health Ribble Valley Project at the National Federation of Young Farmers' Club in Clitheroe. It was lovely πŸ’• to see so many people from past Ribble Valley sessions alongside new attendees joining us for the first time. Everyone enjoyed a relaxed painting πŸ–ŒπŸŽ¨ session. The group got creative designing fairy houses. πŸ’« Take a look at the pics below πŸ‘‡to see just how AMAZING 🀩 they all turned out! These sessions are made possible by the support of the NHS Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care Board (LSC ICB) and the Hyndburn and Ribble Valley CVS Thanks to their support, the sessions are FREE to attend and they are open to adults of all ages. Yesterday, Colourful Memories CIC provided another Arts Health πŸŽ¨πŸ–Œworkshop at New Era - East Lancs in Burnley. We explored Flower Arranging, 🌺 experimenting with different colours 🌈 We used heart-shaped bases πŸ’• and decorated them with gems, ribbons, and rhinestones. πŸ’ŽπŸ”ΆπŸ’  Everyone took home a beautiful, large floral display. It's AMAZING 🀩 to be back supporting people in the Ribble Valley. We are extremely grateful to the NHS Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care Board (LSC ICB) and the Hyndburn and Ribble Valley CVS for supporting and funding this project. This Thursday, we are at a NEW ✨ venue and collaborating with the National Federation of Young Farmers' Clubs in Clitheroe to host our Arts Health πŸŽ¨πŸ–Œ sessions. There has already been a lot of interest in these sessions, and many people have already booked on. The sessions will be held at the Clitheroe Auction Mart, Lancashire Federation of Young Farmers, Ribbledale Centre.
