🎭 GCSE Dance is back at WYTDC!

Open to Years 9 - 11, our GCSE Dance course covers Performance, Choreography and Dance Appreciation and no previous dance experience is needed to apply. It's also a stand-alone qualification, so your dancer doesn't need to already study with us. 🌟

📅 Current class: Mondays, 4.45 - 7.30pm
📅 Due to demand, we're adding a second cohort - Thursday or Friday evening (day/time TBC)

Across the year, dancers get around 3 hours of contact time a week, plus ongoing support and feedback via Teams, to prepare them for both the practical assessments and the written exam.

💷 Course fee: £1,080/year - pay in 3 termly instalments (£360) or 10 monthly instalments (£108)
📌 A £100 deposit is required to register

Tap is one of our favourite styles of dance here at WYTDC 🪩

Tap isn’t just about making noise with your feet. It helps dancers develop musicality, rhythm, coordination, control and precision, all skills that strengthen their performance across every style of dance.

It also challenges the brain and body to work together, builds confidence and gives dancers the freedom to create music through movement.

Big confidence starts with little steps! 💙

Our Parent & Toddler classes are designed for children aged 18 months to 2½ years, helping them build confidence, develop independence and discover the joy of movement in a fun, welcoming environment.

We’ll meet you at the door when you arrive, with plenty of convenient parking available directly outside.

Ready to achieve your GCSE Dance qualification in just one academic year? 💃📚

Our AQA GCSE Dance programme combines practical coaching, choreography and theory, preparing dancers for both their filmed performance assessments and the written exam.

Dancers receive:

✨ Around three hours of specialist training each week
✨ Focused performance and choreography coaching
✨ Full support with the written theory paper
✨ Regular feedback and additional help via Microsoft Teams
✨ The same recognised AQA qualification offered in schools
