Thanks for everyone who made it to Christ Church Aughton yesterday to help support their D-Day tea dance.

Plenty of tea, homemade cakes, Lilian had us strolling along, great music and the guest singers kept us all dancing.

I've been a bit busy this year so it was great to catch up with some of my dance friends.

Waving the flag, dressing up and dancing with friends, dancers always know how to have a good time.

A fabulous day to be had at Aughton Christ Church ministry centre Saturday 6th June.
Plenty to do throughout the day for all ages.

Evening entertainment is a 1940s Tea dance.

If any of our dancers would like to come along in dress theme, to support in this event, we will have a fabulous evening dancing/ Strolls lots of fun dancing to the fabulous Mr Tony Ravel, Julie A. Scott & Rob Leyland x
Tea & cakes will be available or welcome to bring your own drinks x
£5.00 on the door

Oh what a super fabulous night this is going to be.

All funds will be shared between Help the Hero’s and Christ Church. x

A chance to experience the feel of the D-Day celebrations with a fabulous 1940's themed party.

Church bells ringing, a street party style picnic with loads of 40's music and authentic memorabilia, capturing the joy, the excitement and the relief of the end of hostilities.

2pm to 5pm .....Classic cars, military vehicles, 40's artifacts and a street party to celebrate this joyous occasion in our country's history with fun, games and music.

6pm to 9pm.....A tea dance, live music with fabulous artists, bringing the 1940's music and the tremendous British bulldog spirit that helped keep morale high.

Enjoy the 40's music with singers Tony Ravel, Julie A Scott and Rob Leyland as they perform at our 1940's Tea Dance, cake refreshments, raffle, prizes and plenty of 40's dancing.

Dress for the occasion or come as you are...

£5 entry, all money going to good causes, you can even bring your own drinks to help make it a great D-Day celebration.

Our resident DJ Tony Jive will be playing all your favourite Modern Jive dance music, to keep you on the floor, so let’s dance, dance dance and have a great fun night.
