As part of the Out The Box 2022 programme, our cohort have been working extremely hard developing their projects and creative roles. With special thanks to The Arts Centre EHU] we are super excited for you to come and join us for this wonderful afternoon!

Be at the The Arts Centre EHU] Box Office tomorrow (6th October) at 1:50pm and prepare for a wonderful afternoon of powerful performances, a jaw-dropping film premiere, and a spectacular immersive experience!✨

It’s all systems go for our 2022 Out The Box gang! Last week they had a fantastic masterclass with , started sourcing props and set, started filming for our festival promo & made the final decisions on where they’d like to present/perform their work. As you can see .mt is made up with his choice!

What is it?
The Out The Box programme blurs the line between graduation and arts industry employment and encourages artists to think about producing art outside of the traditional remit.

This is a 5 week mentor programme with Wives’ Tales for recent graduates to develop a new creative project. This is an opportunity to pitch anything regardless of artform and discipline!

Mentorship includes group masterclasses, workshops and 1-2-1 mentoring sessions.

Masterclasses include; an introduction into varied stimuli, alternative ways of funding, setting yourself up as a business & how to create effective marketing material.

Frances Disley’s work, ‘Holo Programme 155’, 2020 has found a permanent home at Walker Art Gallery! Which means you’ll be able to experience a recorded immersive audio work to the voice of Steffi Anne Sweeney permanently! (More deets to come!)

For now, its still showing at Bluecoat Thurs-Sat 11am-4pm, you can hear our Steffi at 10 past the hour! Make sure you book via their website - thebluecoat.org.uk
