🐝 The shelves at Derby House are fully stocked! 🐝

I’ve restocked the brand-new Home Fragrance range, including:

✨ Soy candle tins
✨ Wax melt gift tins
✨ Scented tea light gift boxes
✨ Room and linen sprays
✨ Carpet refresher
✨ Odour-eliminating candles and wax melts

I’ve also topped up the colourful soap sponges and restocked the skincare range, including facial serums, eye serums, body lotions, magnesium balms, lip balms and more.

Everything is vegan and cruelty-free, with plenty of lovely options for treating yourself or finding a thoughtful little gift.

Still to come over the next few weeks are my new scented Hoover discs and cleaning fizzy foam! 🫧

🐝☀️ WELL… THIS IS AWKWARD. ☀️🐝

Remember yesterday when the forecast was basically telling me to prepare for rain, thunderstorms and possible gazebo-based aviation? 🌧️⛈️💨

So I made the sensible decision not to do Ormskirk Market today.

And now…

WHERE. IS. THE. RAIN?! 😂😂😂

No thunder.
No torrential downpour.
No need for an ark.
Not even a particularly dramatic puddle.

Meanwhile I’m looking outside thinking…

“I COULD HAVE BEEN AT ORMSKIRK!” 😭🐝

This is the joy of outdoor market life: make a decision based on the forecast, then watch the weather completely change its mind. 🤦‍♀️

I know staying safe was the sensible call when thunderstorms were forecast all day… but that doesn’t make it any less annoying when you wake up to weather that looks perfectly market-able! 😂

So apologies if you were hoping to find me there today. 💚

On the plus side, Bank Holiday Monday at Aughton Village Hall is INDOORS, so unless something truly spectacular happens, the British weather can’t thwart me there. 😂🙌

☔️🐝 TODAY’S UPDATE — WE’RE STILL GOING AHEAD! 🐝☔️

After keeping a very close eye on the weather, I have some good news — Liverpool Night Market is still going ahead today AND I’ll now be safely tucked away INSIDE St George’s Hall! 🙌💚

So no gazebo attempting to fly across Liverpool and, more importantly, no soggy Tropic! 😂

There’s another brilliant reason to visit too. The St George’s Hall Tiled Floor exhibit is open, so you can escape the rain, explore this beautiful Liverpool landmark and see the stunning floor while you’re there. 🏛️✨

🌧️🐝 A LITTLE WEATHER WATCH THIS WEEK… 🐝🌧️

Well, the British weather appears to have looked at my three lovely events this week and said… absolutely not. 😂☔️💨

At the moment, all the markets are still going ahead, so my plan is very much to be there with Tropic and my usual Busy Bee enthusiasm! 💚🐝

However, with weather warnings in place and some pretty awful conditions forecast, I’m going to play things by ear and make a decision about my attendance as each event gets closer.

As much as I love meeting you all, I’m not quite committed enough to self-care to have my gazebo take flight across Liverpool or find myself floating down Ormskirk market with a Tropic tote as a life raft. 😂🌊

So for now…
