Such a special day for Rioghnach who has enjoyed teaching you all from scratch and sharing her love of Irish Dancing with you . So lovely to have 4 of our fabulous dancers honoured by Omagh & Fermanagh District Council at their Young Achievers evening ! Congratulations Bronagh , Cliodhna & Caoimhe on your very well deserved recognition ! Missing in action was Cormac , also receiving an award but who was busy helping Tyrone to win the Ulster Minor Football title this evening 🎉 We are so proud of you all

What a busy but exciting weekend for us !
Congratulations to Aoibheann on competing for the first time in a Dublin feis and winning her Beg C light Cup 🎉 and to Annie u/8 and Cliodhna u/10 on winning their championships at the South Dublin Summer Championships 🎉
Senan and Joshua Mullen entertained the crowds at the opening of the Monaghan Fleadh in Scotstown - how lovely to see these 2 brothers perform together in their home village.
AND JigJazz …. Another amazing show this time on our home turf in Omagh . Such a proud night for our school !!! Bonnie, Jane, Rose, Katie, Emma, Connie & Bronagh all performing exceptionally well , doing what they love 💚Thank you Debbie Maguire JigJazz for giving our girls this opportunity & congratulations on another amazing show .

The West Tyrone Feis is such an important tradition in our area , with music, art , drama & Irish Language sections as well as dancing . Its importance for building confidence and nurturing talents in our children is invaluable and if that tradition is lost , like every tradition it can never be fully restored . A massive thank you to the Feis committee who give so much of their time voluntarily to provide this platform for our young people.
May can be a very busy time of year with sacraments & exams , meaning teams are difficult to put together . We also have a number of dancers rehearsing for JigJazz next Saturday night meaning they couldn’t compete in qualifying solo weekend .Thank you to our parents and dancers ( esp our Senior team) who made our teams work & congratulations to Eva, Realta, Saoirse, Isla , Ella Rose, Alfie & Chloe who made their First Holy Communion over the last 2 weekends .
From our ‘Most Promising Dancer u/5 ‘ Robyn Rae Mc Elvaney to our oldest solo competitor Grace Mc Entee u/16 & from our winning fairy reel u/6 team to our Senior Céilí team and every dancer in between , you were all a pleasure to watch and our future is very bright 💕
We also wish our American dancers the best of luck as they prepare to compete in their first ever feis later this month ☘️ 🇺🇸 We know you are working hard and are so excited for you 💕

Katie Mc Kenna what a lovely friend you are & we are so very proud of you !
Firstly you danced beautifully , and were in 4th place at a point in the results , placing 12th in the end and just narrowly missing out on a sash. However you were so excited for Emma that you weren’t even aware of your own placing until it was read out . To put aside your own disappointment and celebrate the success of your friend isn’t easy but you showed everyone what a lovely friend you are . In our school where we have several open dancers in many age groups you are an excellent role model for our younger dancers. Well done Katie 💕💕💕
