From Conor:
We are absolutely delighted to announce that we have raised a monumental £14,220 for Larry Lowe Music in his search for effective medical treatments.
When thinking of raising money, I didn't want anyone to "donate", so we put on a cracking lineup in the hope that people would come and pay to enjoy a fantastic night of music, and they did. So to each and every person that bought a ticket or paid in on the night, thank you immensely.
With so many to thank, I will try and get to them all.
To Matt McGlinn for his technical wizardry, who ultimately shouldered a lot of the work in the lead up to the event and even more so on the night with his flawless Stage Management. A cool and calm customer like no other. A joy to work alongside.
Also working close by was the wonderful Emma Miller and her wicked skills on the oul socials and her "big" ideas. (IYKYK)
To Stephen Doherty for his supremely generous offer and to Mick McIvor, Gerard Casey and all the staff from InnBar Group for helping raise such a substantial amount.
To all the door-staff who donated their time and made sure everyone had an amazing night in a safe space, thank you!
Huge thanks to Conor Sally at Omagh St. Enda's GAA (along with the Dodge City legend Mark Nelson) for their help and support throughout the day and night.
To the folk in the WhatsApp group who represented their bands,
Niall Donnelly (FreeRider), Niall Moore (Turkey Shack), Nevin Colton (Cool hand String Band), Andrew Dolan, Piero McGartland, James Lowe (Other Sound), Ronan Mullan (Big Ro & The Frooties) for volunteering themselves and their band to give up their valuable time for free, and for putting on a show like no other, I am forever indebted. (As I am to my fellow Committed members who were absolutely volunteered by me!)
To Johnathan and Clare Kirwan from The Burger Express for donating their profits from their Chip-van outside the event, rounding it up to £500. Truly amazing generosity.
To Niall, Niall and Mick from TechPro for transforming St enda's Hall in to a truly impressive and professional event with both light & sound.
Big thanks to Aidan Dunphy for providing a Drum-Kit for the evening for everyone to batter, saved us a lot of hassle!
To Enda Harpur for providing the tunes in between acts with a whopping playlist (that should definitely be shared Enda!)
To Liam O'Neill and Michael Clarke for capturing footage of the event for Larry to watch back on, it meant so much to him to be able to see it.
Big thank you to Terry McClean from iDesign for donating the banner and drum skin, very much appreciated (especially at the last minute!)
