News Update:

At the October meeting of our sponsors, the Northern Association of Model Engineers, it was decided to sponsor an exhibition in the South West of England in April 2021. It has therefore been decided that the next Manchester exhibition will be in late February 2022 subject to the availability of a full organising team.

Following the success of the 2017 Manchester Model Engineering Exhibition (Mmex), the Northern Association of Model Engineers (NAME) have approved holding the exhibition biennially. The 2019 exhibition will be held on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th February at the Queen Elizabeth Hall, Oldham. Once again the whole event will be run by an organising group of NAME members for model engineers and public alike with the aim of making a small surplus to fund the next event.

We are now recruiting people from the northern model engineering clubs to join the organising group. If you think you can help contact Bob Hayter as listed on the ‘contacts’ page of the MMEX website . Now is the opportunity for you and/or your club to get involved and support your Association.

The Manchester Model Engineering Exhibition is both a showcase for the best in model engineering in the north west and a forum where model engineers and public can meet to appreciate the expertise that exists in the region.

We are pleased to announce that tickets are now available for advance purchase on the MMEX Website at the price of £4.00 each.

But please note if you are buying tickets for a group you will get one ticket in your name to cover the number you buy. If you want tickets for several people not arriving together please buy each a ticket separately even if they all have your name on them.
