The 2nd Sahar International Short Film Festival 2016 AWARD WINNERS announced at the presentation ceremony at Oldham Library.
Best Films by Audience on 23rd of April 2016 in Contemporary Iranian Cinema were:
" It is Winter" by Sepideh Mirhoseini and "Experiment" by Mohammad Reza Minapour
On 30th of April, International best short films by audience were: "Lonely Continent" by Mandana Ansari and "Why" by Vahid Monjezi

Best Director: " It is Winter" by Sepideh Mirhoseini , The wind will tell something by Ali Mardomi
Best Screenplay: "Remaining piece of taste of cherry" by Javad Chardoly

Contemporary Iranian Cinema short films Competition (Part 2) 5:15 PM (Some Films in this Section are not suitable for children)

Non-competition - 7 PM
At : Millgate Theatre, Delph, Saddleworth, OL3 5DY

Tickets are available on the door
£5 General public
Children (12 and above)£3

Filmmskers who are involved with selected films are free

Saturday 30 April 2016 - 2pm until 4pm:
- International Short Films Competition Part 1 :(The Films havenot been screened outside the Original Country)

- International Short Films Competition Part 2 :Open Competition
- Presentation of Awards

Tickets are available on the door - £5 General public - Children £3
Filmmskers who are involved with selected films are free
Free car parking up to 3 hours at nearby car parks

Please note that under The Sahar International Short Film Festival rules a short film will be eligible for the competition category if it has not been screened at another film festival AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION.
if the film has been selected elsewhere by the time of the screening this does not disqualify the film from the competition

فیلم‌های منتخب دومین جشنواره جهانی‌ فیلم کوتاه سحر
اسامی فیلم‌های منتخب در دومین جشنواره جهانی‌ فیلم کوتاه سحر برای اکران عمومی اعلام شد.
این فیلم‌های ارسالی، در بخش‌های رقابتی و فیلم‌های کوتاه سینمای معاصر ایران، به رقابت می‌نشینند.

در حاشیه جشنواره، فیلم‌های غیر رقابتی‌ به نمایش در می‌‌آیند
لازم به ذکر است که تاریخ و مکان دقیق این جشنواره برای علاقه مندان به فیلم‌های کوتاه به زودی از طریق وبسایت "سحر" اعلام خواهد شد.

We are proud to announce that The Sahar International Short Film Festival for the second year in 2016 will plan to discover new, emerging and independent filmmakers and introduce them to the film industry.

We are going to announce the selection of the best films in Contemporary Independent Iranian Cinema, Competition and Non-competition categories soon as possible.

This festival is for films shot in HD, up to 20 minutes.
In Competition section,
All the films have been produced since 2013
The films should not screen at other festivals

None competition section:
films up to 30 minutes will be accepted.
Foreign short films need English subtitles
Closing Date : TBA

Genre:
Fiction, Comedy, Drama, Animation,Documentary, Human Rights
Sahar Awaed selected film
The best three Competition films will be selected as award winners from audience votes

Screening date and venue will be annonced
