Dead bodies…suspect detectives…and is the murderer actually you? An off-beat modern comedy where everyone’s a suspect.
Can they find anyone who likes the director? And can somebody please explain what’s going on to the leading man? Keep your wits about you as we flash back and forward to uncover the truth, or something like it - who knows?

Still time for another seasonal show with Pinocchio! The award-winning Old Buckenham Players present a fun pantomime about the puppet who became a real boy. A cheeky script complete with goodies and baddies is sure to warm up your January.
Running for three nights at Old Buckenham Village Hall from 15th – 17th January, including a Saturday Matinee, tickets are competitively priced at £12 or £6 for under 14s. We’ll be running our usual reasonably priced bar and choc ices (of course!)

The pantomime to start 2026 with!

Old Buckenham Players will be hitting the pantomime trail in early January with the all-time favourite, Pinocchio, the tale of the wooden puppet who becomes a real boy. The toymaker’s dreams of his wooden creation coming to life are aided by The Blue Fairy and Pinocchio’s conscience and guide, Jiminy Cricket. The sinister Stromboli with his pesky sidekicks of the fox and the cat seek to use Pinocchio for their own immoral purposes as he is kidnapped and locked up. Escaping from Pleasure Island and being swallowed by a whale is all part of his journey as he learns to be honest, brave and good.
With popular songs and a cheeky script this promises to be a fun night out for all the family.

Shhhhhh.....don't talk about Christmas yet, not until 1st December anyway. But you can talk about...pantomime! The next date to go in your diary should be OBP's production of PInocchio timed to beat those New Year blues playing from 15th - 17th January at Old Buckenham Village Hall. Ticket prices held at £12 for adults and £6 for under 14s.
