Miss April, Miss Clare and Miss Mandy are SUPER excited to get back to classes soon 🤩

Invoices have been sent, lessons planned and the carnival dance choreographed ready for a new school year welcoming dancers old and new to the FOOTsteps family fun ✅

We hope all students returning to education this week have a great week, particularly those entering their first ever week of primary, secondary or college! ✏️

❣️Just a reminder that whilst twice weekly Zumba classes return to the timetable this week, all other classes return week commencing 14th September❣️

Miss April, Miss Chrissie and Miss Clare were treated by Miss Mandy to a trip to the theatre for our FOOTsteps team day of Fun! 💃🕺🎭

Dance and movement based classes are a great way for littles ones to build confidence, make new friends, improve gross motor skills, harness imagination and have fun! 💜

Our fabulous Miss Clare runs our Parent & Toddler ‘Jumping Beans’ Classes and Pre-School Dance Classes during the week. She is ISTD trained, DBS checked and has over 15 years experience working with early years. 🥰

🤩Looking to try something new this September?!🤩

We have listened to your feedback and are introducing another Adult’s Absolute Beginners Tap Course 🥳

This 12 week course is aimed at those who have always wanted to give tap dance a go but do not have any prior experience or for those wanting a refresher of the tap fundamentals. 👞

By the end of the course you will know all basic tap steps to be ready and confident to join any beginner’s class.🕺💃

September will soon be upon us and you may be thinking about extra curricular activities for the new school year! 🤔

FOOTsteps offers dance, movement and performing arts based classes throughout the week for children ages 2yrs+! 💃🕺🏼

Established in the Okehampton Community for over 20 years, we are a fun and inclusive dance school that offer classes in a wide range of genres with ISTD trained and DBS checked teachers. 💜

Classes start back week commencing the 14th September 2026 and are a sure way to build confidence, encourage creativity, make friends and keep your sparkles active 💫

There are plenty of opportunities to perform, enter for ISTD accredited exams and partake in community and charity events throughout the year, though they are never mandatory 🎭

We offer a discounted trial period for all classes in Tap, Modern, Ballet, Ballroom, Preschool, Acro and Musical Theatre.✨

💜🦁Summer School-Day 3🦁💜

Our final day of summer school brought rehearsals, face paint, photoshoots and more rehearsals prior to our final showcase 🤩

They went out with an almighty ROAR of applause! 👏🏻

Thank-you to everyone who took part.
It was so lovely to see everyone shine and enjoy the arts. They were all AMAZING and the most big hearted group of sparkles 🥰
