Oke Life Drawing Guided Life Drawing Sessions in Okehampton, drawing in-person from a n**e model. Tuesday evenings. All abilities welcome! You are free to draw however you wish.

This is a two-hour life drawing class, drawing from a n**e model. I will be suggesting techniques and exercises to try out along the way and will be happy to provide constructive feedback if you like. Poses range from 2 minutes to 45 minutes. There is a 10 minute break in the middle. We have a fantastic rota of talented, experienced models that change each week. You can find us at The Ockment Cent

re in Okehampton, we are in a little room around the back. If you are looking at the main building from the road there is a gate on the far left, from the gate you can walk around the side and find our little room tucked behind the main building. There free parking a little way up the road. Monday, 6.30-8.30 pm . Please arrive to have yourself set up and ready to draw by 6.25 pm. Don't hesitate to give me a call if you're stuck outside. Please bring a sketchbook/paper and drawing equipment. Easels welcome. Dry materials are preferable. Chairs and tables supplied. Everyone is welcome! From complete beginner to experienced artist. It doesn't matter if you've never even drawn before, just come and have a go! Classes are super friendly and there is no requirement to show your work.

Hey Everyone, just a quick update. I’ll be reducing our life drawing sessions to fortnightly (every other week) for now. That means there is a session tomorrow (21st), but no session on the 28th. After that, sessions will continue every two weeks (4th, 18th, 2nd, etc).

Attendance has been a bit lower since we returned after the summer, and I’ve been too busy to give the sessions the attention they deserve. Moving to every other week should help ease some stress and give me a chance to rebuild momentum.

My goal is to get the sessions running weekly again once things pick up. Thanks so much for your understanding and continued support, I really appreciate it!

Tomorrow we will be commencing as usual but I have booked a different room in the Ockment centre.

We will be in the Bellever room.

I will hang around the reception area (through the front door of the main building) to greet you and point you in the right direction.

Should be fun to try out a different space!
