🎶 Last night vibes with The Hummingbirds! 🕺💃
We had an absolute blast performing at The Langstone Cliff Hotel in Dawlish for their stunning Black Tie Dinner & Strictly Social Ballroom Dance!
The dance floor was alive, the room looked elegant, and it was such a joy swinging through those classic ballroom numbers for everyone. A massive thank you to all the dancers who filled the floor and made the night sparkle! ✨ We were mesmerised 🤩

🎤 LIVE MUSIC ANNOUNCEMENT #3 🎤

The final act on the bill, and quite possibly the most fitting for a classic vehicle festival.

The Hummingbirds bring close-harmony vintage singing from the 1920s, 30s and 40s - think Andrews Sisters, summer evening, polished chrome, a cold glass of something. They'll be roaming the showground throughout BOTH days, so wherever you find yourself - between a Triumph and a Norton, by the trade stalls, in the food queue - you might just turn around and find them in full song.

It is, honestly, one of the loveliest little moments of the Historic Vehicle Gathering weekend.

There is nothing quite like festival season, especially when you get to camp right in the heart of it! Grace and Bettie spent the weekend living the dream in Binnie (the trusty T4 Trouper) at the gorgeous Glanusk Estate for The WOBK Festival. 🎪🚐
The weekend was an absolute whirlwind of brilliant music and fun. We a special DDAY set from us yesterday 🫡 We loved performing for you all, and we had just as much fun watching the other acts—Tara Simms was fantastic, the Tina Turner tribute had everyone singing along, and we definitely gave the line dancing our best shot! 💃🤠
A huge thank you to the organizers and to everyone who made the weekend so special.

Dotty and Edie went on a road trip today to the wonderful Balmer Lawn Hotel in The New Forest to sing at an exclusive Summer Party. The sun may not have been shining, but that didn’t put a dampener on the smiles of everyone who attended. What a fabulous time!

Hummingbirds are scattered across the country On this 86th anniversary of DDay.

Hummingbird Rose (pictured) has been entertaining at a lovely gentlemen’s birthday party today in our home county, whilst Edie & Dotty are duo’ing in the New Forest. Grace & Bettie have been out with Binnie the camper van all weekend, singing at The Women Only Be Kind Festival in the beautiful Brecon Beacons. More on both duo’s adventures later.

How fortunate are we to be able to have the freedom to do these things. Forever grateful 🙏🏻

Good morning 😊

After a VERY long day yesterday, It was so lovely to have a bit of social time last night. We were out for supper at 6pm & back in our rooms by 9:30. Proper light weights 🤭 BUT….. we had such a lovely time celebrating Clara’s birthday (AKA Jess) & all thing Hummingbirds. More on the work side of things later 😊
Great company. Lovely meals. Fabulous staff. Love the details in the simply styled rooms. A wonderful place to stay 🥰.
